The first load of lumber and the floor joists were supposed to be delivered early Friday. We waited around all day only to receive the partial order late in the afternoon. At this point, not much was able to be done before dark, and no one was happy.

^SHOUT OUT TO WILL BECKER OF SIMPSON STRONG-TIE^

Saturday morning the floor joists that did not show up the day before were supposed to be delivered at 7:30am. The truck showed up around 9:00am. We then discovered that the truck driver could not use the forklift to get the joists down the driveway because they were too long. So Big Al, Rob and Spicer had to unload them one by one from the truck. The remainder of the day brought on a lot of rain and a lot of mud! Not much productivity!
