Certificate of Occupancy!

As of Sunday the 26th, Rob and I are living on the house! We received our Certificate of Occupancy on Friday the 24th and couldn't be happier! With the help of our parents and Brian and Jamie Foster we successfully moved most of our junk from Twinsburg to Solon. We will make one final trip today to pick up the last few boxes and do some cleaning, and that's it! Goodbye Twinsburg!

As of Wednesday, August 18th

One Monday Mr. Rob and a painting crew came out and primed the interior walls of the entire house. The also painted all of the ceilings. On Tuesday, they started putting the color on our walls! Mr. Rob was busy painting until 11:00pm last night. At this point we have three rooms painted: two of the upstairs bedrooms and the loft. They also began painting the hallways. Today is another day of painting, so we will see tonight how far they have gotten.

Cabinets and trim are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Installation of these items will come in the following days! Marino from Murray's Fashion Floors is also scheduled to come out tomorrow to start laying the cement board that is to go under our tile floors! I think we will be moving in sooner than we originally thought!!

Drywall is complete - floors have been sealed!

This weekend Kait and I vacuumed up all of the drywall dust from the entire first and second floor. We also put a sealer down on the floors of the rooms that will have carpet. Starting on Monday, Mr. Rob and a friend of his will begin spraying the walls and ceilings with primer. Hopefully by the weekend we will begin seeing some color!

And our normal garage door.
Drywall taping is almost complete. This is how are ceilings will look.
Its hard to tell in the photo, but they are pretty cool in person. We hope to start priming the walls to paint this upcoming weekend.

August 4th Update!

All the siding is on the house, except for a small area on the front center gable. Most of the garage has been sided as well, except for a few small areas on the tops of the two ends.
All of the drywall is in place and they have began taping.
Hopefully all the taping and sanding will be completed tomorrow so we can start priming and painting this weekend.

Emshoff was also back out this week. They brought some more dirt in and worked on leveling out our yard. Cabinets, counter tops and garage doors have all been ordered and are expected to be delivered and installed soon. The crew from Murray's Fashion Floors will be out tomorrow to take some measurements so we can get our flooring ordered and installed as well.
